Sunday saw us travel down to Dumbarton for the latest game this season slightly understrength. This was also the first game this year that we got to wear the new away strips!!
Down to the game, nice start from us using the massive height advantage we had, this however did not translate into the points we had hoped for. Still we finished the quarter up by about 6.
Second quarter and we started to stretch our advantage by changing the defence a few times. Half time and we were up 29-17. A low scoring game caused by the number of lay-ups we had managed to miss in the first half.
Some lay-up practice at half time and suddenly we got into a groove in the 3rd. We were scoring more easily and really turning up the defensive pressure. I think Big John and Phil must have had 3 blocks each in the second half! This continue for the rest of the half with all players getting a good run out.
