The second encounter for both teams this season and PSG were looking to square things up for the only defeat earlier on in the season, to Troon.
The first quarter for both teams was scrappy, with both teams struggling to find any regular offensive form. Baskets were few and far betwee, with everyone made for PSG was hard worked for. Poor defence allowed Troon to get easier shots up and they finished the quarter 10 - 15 up.
PSG came out in the second quarter a bit better composed and hustled well on defence, causing Troon alot of problems. Although PSG gave up many 2nd shots due to poor defensive rebounding, however Troon struggled to put the ball in the basket. PSG's offence sparked on the back of their defence and started to get good looks at the basket. The 2nd quarter finished 17 - 4 to PSG due to the good defence. Half time score 27 - 19
Despite the good 2nd quarter the game was far from over and Troon came out to cut into the lead. A slow start by PSG and some good outside shooting got Troon a bit closer. However by stepping up a gear on defence and some good inside play extending the lead by 15 at the end of the quarte, 49- 34.
PSG kept this momentum in the 4th and despite a lull half way through the half PSG closed out the game. Good patient ball movement on offence and solid defence again kept PSG extending their lead. All players contribted well on both ends of the floor and PSG ran out well deserved winners, 76 - 41.
