The first really big test in the league for PSG, and after fine league performances so far a highly anticipated one for both teams.
Glasgow Uni came to this game ready to make an impact and they did throughout the whole game. PSG were pressured the whole game by a very strong and deep Uni team, which saw PSG struggle under the pressure. The intensity of the press shocked PSG and they were not prepared for such pressure. Uni's offence also was firing on all cylinders with shots falling for Uni outside and breaking well up the court to get to the hoop.
Once PSG started breaking the press, they were stagnant on offence and lacked the usual movement, passing and composure shown in previous games. Down 17 at half time PSG still had a chance to get back into the game. However in the 4th quarter heads went down and Uni increased their lead. Possibly final scoreline didnt reflect the whole game and flattered Uni, but the better team got the win on the day, keeping them the only unbeaten team in the league.
Uni's guards yet again played very well and were the driving force of the team.
PSG will need to bounce back from this, the worst defeat of the season.
