Eventually I've managed to get to this.
Last wednesday saw the return leg of this season game at our home court. We decided that a change to our defense might help us to stop being lazy! This didn't work.
1st quarter we gave the ball away too easily, commited too many turnovers and couldn't cope when they played the same defense against us that we normally play against everyone else!!
Buddies had their own problems and weren't able to score as much as they would have hoped. End of the quarter PSG 8 - Buddies 15
After some discussions around what we should be doing against the press we came out and did nothing the right way. They continued to struggle against on offense which allowed us to hold on and actually reduce the deficit by a point. Still nothing interesting to mention.

After some words from Charlie and a few others at half time we came out much better in the 3rd quarter, our defense stepped up and we started to move the ball much better leading to some easy baskets and open shots. To the buddies credit they continued to bring fresh players into the game giving them the ability to get out on the run. If they could have made their lay-ups we would have been in trouble. Fortunately some of their less experienced players did make mistakes. End of the 3rd PSG 41 - Buddies 40
Final quarter and we continued our momentum. Athough scoring for both teams were down this was probably because we started to use more of the clock as the game wore on to prevent them having the chance to cut into our lead.
